Jon Ramsey has volunteered at Seton Home for over two and a half years.Jon Ramsey has volunteered at Seton Home for over two and a half years. His commitment to Seton Home and to our teenage mothers and children has touched everyone. Jon Ramsey started as a tutor helping out moms with their schoolwork. He and another other person came faithfully once a week to help the mothers catch up where they had fallen behind in school. Jon also helped us develop and shape the individual tutoring into a full- fledged tutoring program to where now volunteers from the Junior League of San Antonio come twice a week to help residents who need tutoring help; and the Women of AT&T provide girls incentive activities for participating in the program. Jon faithfully is there to help alongside these volunteers twice a week.

Whenever our residents talk about tutoring, Jon Ramsey's name always comes up. He has encouraged residents to get their diploma or GED and continue their education. When asked how Jon helped one resident, Allysa, a 10th grade student, she said "Jon helped me go from Geometry to Algebra II. The subject was hard, but he made it fun."

Beyond his personal effort and donations, Jon recruited within his own company to help with the tutoring program.Beyond his personal effort and donations, Jon recruited within his own company to help with the tutoring program. He joined the Women of AT&T and recruited them to allocate $3,600 to help the tutoring program by providing incentives like dinners on the Riverwalk for mothers who are faithful to the program, do their work, improve their grades, and attend school.

And if all those efforts were not enough, Jon Ramsey has shared his talents as a photographer. If you saw Seton Home's Christmas card the last two years, he was our photographer! Jon has a hectic schedule as the Director of Customer Satisfaction Operations at AT&T, but he is always willing to give his time to help Seton Home.

We appreciate Jon for all that he does for Seton Home. THANK YOU JON!
