Group Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for being a friend to our Seton Home families! Your group, business or organization can also volunteer at Seton Home by taking part in a group service project, making a difference in the lives of our young families. Our group opportunities include:

The Bottom Line babies

Challenge your community to affect ours!  Donation drives help us meet The Bottom Line so we are able to allocate dollars to the direct service of our families. Consumables are what we are in constant need of to keep the lights on in our Cottages. Consider hosting a month long drive to stock our pantries with these necessities. Click here to download Bottom Line pledge form.

The Days of Our Lives – are Milestones!

Many of our young moms and their children have previously lacked positive role models who celebrate life’s significant occasions; holidays, birthdays, baby showers. Please be a host on our campus. Planning and set up is minimal, and we strive to have our calendar planned well in advance. Choose which month to host if it is not already taken! Our moms have busy schedules, Milestone events are held on weekends! Click here for more information.

Chow’s On… Us!chows_on

Recharge our moms with the energy they need to blaze new trails for their families.   Mondays are table time for our teen moms and their children.  Host a meal for 60 people and get to know Seton Home in the casual, laid-back setting of our Cottages’ kitchens where we encourage young moms to build the skills which promote lifelong self-sufficiency. Click here to download Chow's On pledge form.

Campus Beautification Projects

Make Seton Home, when your team offers to build a picnic table, paint a room, or pressure wash trails on Seton Home’s 8 acre campus!

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

We are also looking for caring individuals to give us a helping hand! Some of our volunteer opportunities for individuals include:

  • Maintenance and facilities
  • Childcare assistance during weekdays
  • Mentors to our young mothers and their children
For more information on our volunteer opportunities, just follow these 3 easy steps:
  1. Visit the United Way's newest social platform.
  2. Become a "Fan" of Seton Home's page and create a profile tailored to your volunteer interests. The more agencies you "fan", the more email updates you will receive when new volunteer opportunities are posted.
  3. Share with your friends, and encourage them to take part in this exciting opportunity!

Once you are matched with a volunteer opportunity, our Development Coordinator will work with you to start the application process. Depending on the nature of your position, there may be a cost associated with completing the volunteer application process.
